Damn. My wife must be a cheap date. That's about 10 dinners for usChump change for some, but its still a nice dinner with the wife.
Thanks for the instruction! Forgot to mention, the return policy is 5 days or 200 miles. I'll drive check the oil after 200 miles. If oil consumption is a concern, after picking up the car, drive it, park it for 15 minutes and check the oil level. Hopefully it is between the two marks. Then put as many hard miles on the car as you possibly can within the five days. More the better. If you can do at least 1000 miles that would be ideal. Check the oil using the same procedure as above and if you find the oil at or near the same level on the stick you’re good to go. Any significant drop (1 gt or more) could be an indication of excessive oil consumption. I believe Ford says a quart every 500 miles is acceptable, but I would think most people on this form would agree that it is not.
Bay area, but https://shift.com/car/c121574 is from San Diego.Where is this car located at? If it's in San Diego, it looks really familiar and I know the previous owner.

Finger crossed, thank you! This would be my advice as well. If you can put enough mileage on it during those a first few days you’ll be able to tell if consumption is a problem and you will get to know the car during that time. Best of luck and I hope it’s a solid ride that won’t give you headaches.
Its called an OASIS reportGot it, thanks!
Yeah, both carfax and autocheck are clean. Will try to get a Oasis report. The milage shows 3800 on the cluster.
Also, run a carfax yourself and also run a autocheck . Check the actual vin on the car. Sometimes Carfax does not show everything or vice versa.
Get a Oasis report from 2 different dealers.
Got it, thanksCall your Ford dealership and ask them if you can bring in your car so they can hook up the car to their computer to look for warranty-voiding usage, moneyshifts, and/or modifications. This is the only way I'd feel comfortable buying a used GT350 on top of the usual carfax check and service history, etc. Also take it to a reputable body shop. Skilled body shop techs can spot a repair that may not be in any kind of reports.
