I just installed a PMAS intake on my 2018 this morning. Unless your throttle body is changing you'll need the 2017 CAI

I thought the TB’s were the same between 17-18?

If you want jlt, get the 2018 version. If you Want a pmas get a 2018 version.

I used a 15-17 pmas on my 18. Just needed a different throttle body coupler and driver's side vacuum connection.

That's what I'm trying to determine... Which year.. Not which brand of CAI to use.
I want it to fit nicely so wasn't sure if I should buy the 2018 cai since I have the 2018 manifold.

I think the air box for the 2018 is different? You might need the 15-17 JLT kit and then buy the 18 conversion kit. Give them a call and see what they say.

I have the 15-17 JLT and it fits under the hood but barely. I am considering buying the 2018 intake tube for a better fit.

I just got off the phone with Jonas at JLT- Super nice guy. He recommends that I just buy the 15-17 kit and push down on everything as I tighten it. He said after a few heat cycles it will adjust itself. He told me not to worry about buying the conversion kit which I thought was odd considering they sell them...but appreciate his honesty.

Now to decide on buying color matched one or just a black one?

We have installed a ton of these. We can get the 15-17 CAI to work just fine with minimal forcing normally. The easiest way is to just grab a 18 CAI as well. We prefer PMAS or JLT when we tune and install these.

I currently have the Power Pack 2 on my '17 GT but want to know if I can keep using the gt350 intake, throttle body, and throttle body adapter with the '18 manifold? Or will I need to use the stock '17 throttle body, new intake, and get a custom tune? And which tune, if any, would y'all recommend? Thanks.

I just completed the 18 manifold install yesterday. I had previously purchased the Holley Intech CAI as I didn’t want to tune the car yet. I wasn’t sure how well it would work with the new manifold. The flexible coupler at the throttle body was a snap to get everything lined up. The rubber material they used allowed it to flex while still being able to drop the conical into the sealed box. Very happy with the results/fit.

I was searching for the same info. I guess a call to Ford Performance is needed.
