has anyone had that 2000rpm-2500rpm rattle completely go away or partially go away?

this weekend, with ~1,400 miles on the clock, i noticed it was completely gone, even when it was cold on first start up.

ambient air temps 30-39 degrees. overnight 20's.

however this morning, i noticed it in the 1st 1/2 mile of driving but very very slight on 2 up shifts 1st-2nd and 2nd-3rd.

up until now it's been consistent since the day i picked it up.

my car does not have the bbq tick and never did.

Yeah, that rattle may be the IMRC, or in my case, something related to the AC compressor. If the IMRC had an issue, I admit it's odd that it fixed itself. But hey, I'd be happy and count my blessings it's one less thing to worry about.

Bbq Tick on my car may be absent on one of N engine starts. But it comes back next engine start. I have no rattle, just the tick.
