Hi Matt,

Just reading through the Forums and I noticed you have sold your 2016 GT.

I'm expecting a Bullitt end of the year and will be putting mine up for sale soon.

Just wondering, did you sell with the mods or did you de-mod it and then sell?

Any advice would be welcome.
Hey mate, I sold with most of the mods. Unfortunately I didn't get as much as I would have hoped, so I took the aftermarket wheels off and will be selling them separately. I kept smaller stuff, like dash cam, x pipe, panel filter, nguage, I think that's about it. The rest of it was either diminishing returns or couldn't (or didn't want to) carry over to the new car.

Best advice would be, don't get your hopes up haha. I know a couple blokes who have been incredibly lucky with buyers, so fingers crossed, but it's a buyers market out there right now.

On topic, the Lakins look great on the new car

Car looks great, Matt.

Congrats!

How did you get the Lakins to fit? A little bending?

Thanks mate!

I actually just gave them to the dealership and they fitted. They may be too high now that I'm actually looking at it lol dammit

Thanks Matt,

I am considering taking the wheels and exhaust off and putting stock back on. Plus the GT350R brace.

Coilovers will stay, as you say, diminishing returns. Lol!

I’ll keep the Lakin’s too.

All the best, your new one looks great!

Thank you everyone for the advice! Its a great help, looks like the tape is the go. Cannot believe that there is nobody that actually manufactures something for just this problem anymore. .
I have found Craig's custom no drill bracket works really well. http://ccmustangbrackets.com/
I like the way you can remove it quickly when needed.
I used it on my 2015 Mustang for over 2 years with no issues and will be installing it on my new Bullitt Mustang.
