I'm in the process of trying buy a 2018 Premium GT and wanted to reach out to the community for advice. Dealer is asking 37,999 for a 2018 Premium GT Kona Blue with the following:

- Automatic
- Black accent package
- 400a package
- Carbon Interior Package

Best they are willing to do is 37,495. Is this a good deal? They won't budge at all.

Thanks
D

Does that price include all incentives? Not sure what your gonna to to customize in future, but I think you can find one with better/more options for similar price

The dealers in my area are asking 40+ for less equipped non-premium GTs.

42,975 sticker price. I ended up passing wasn't happy with how I was treated. I tried showing them other dealer ads with cheaper pricing and better options (but notnthe color I liked). Long story short they said go buy that car then. Literally in that tone of voice. Guess I'll take my money elsewhere...no biggie

Sit tight
They'll call you back before weekend is over.....
And if not Ford might sweeten the deal Monday.

What would be a good deal for a Mustang like that?
I'm looking at a basic GT with pp1 and 301a.

Go to Ford.com
Put in your zip code
It should tell you the mfr to buyer incentives. This will vary country wide.
From there there is the dealership discount.
From there .....there is unpublished incentives from Ford to the store. The store may ...or may not share any of that savings to them with you and your negotiated price. Some dealerships will ....just to move the hardware. EOM is always a better time for the buyer.
Franchises live or die my their month, an industry unique in that way.

Just FYI my sticker was $48500, my sale price was $39000 about 2 months ago. Rule of thumb I try to go by is 15% off msrp is a good deal 20% msrp is a great deal.

The Virginia area is the cheapest in the country with the base model GT available for $27,000.... I'm sure the premiums are cheaper then anywhere else also.... Just have your local dealer bring it up to you, and they swap a car off the local dealers lot back down to the dealer the Mustang came from.... I just did this for my 2017 mustang GT. Go to carguru.com and filter out mustang GTs cheapest in a nationwide search.
