Perfect Mustang pairing! Congrats!

How do you compare the Bullitt to the GT350?

Very difficult to compare, the Gt350 is a beast. I mostly use it for track days but sometimes take it out on the road. It loves to go fast, rev high and take corners at high speed. Wasted on roads, IMO. The Bullitt is a very nice car, good acceleration, nice exhaust sounds, pretty fast, just plain fun to drive. My wife and I enjoy cruising on the weekends and having fun with the cars. As far as the money, after 20 years of owning my own business, working 70 hrs/6 days a week you realize you can't take it with you and decide to have some fun. I can spend hours tinkering with them to help decompress after work and occasionally get to the track with the 350. Maybe I'll leave mustangs to all my grandchildren. The Bullitt was a spur of the moment buy, my wife went out of town, I couldn't help myself.

Congrats! My plans were to do exactly like you and keep my gt350 but that wasn't possible plus I do not have space as it is. You summed it up pretty good comparing the two. Wasted on roads, IMO.
I will miss having that car but who knows what the future brings.

As for the Bullitt the best bang for the buck IMO. One of the nicest features so far was not scraping the front chin spoiler in the driveway, etc. and better egress/ingress considering I am getting older. It's the prettiest damn car I have own next 2 the 2012 competition orange Boss I use to own. Can't wait to break her in!

You're right about that, its the first mustang I bought brand new. I got my Shelbys both lightly used and mostly just washed and shined. The Bullitt is a great car, not flashy, just cool in its own way. I second the thought about the front splitter, always worried about breaking it on the 350. Someday I would like to have a boss, but it will be a while before the wife leaves me alone again.
