Planning on adding a Whipple stage 2 to my
18 Auto. What upgrades would I need to run
E85? Looking at maybe 800 Hp max.

Fore innovations fuel system and custom tune from Lund, PBD or AED. Or Bama if you want a blown up engine

Thanks Devil5oh

Would it require a return type fuel system?
What Injectors options would fit this build?

800 rwhp may not even require e85. The supplied fuel system, a pulley swap, and a can of boostane might get there.

I don’t know? I was thinking more HP from fuel and a little less boost would bring more reliability?
I’m currently on E85 and the engine loves this Fuel...

There are a few people running a BAP with the DW400 pump the stage 2 comes with and it's enough fuel for e85. This may be a cheaper option depending how much boost you plan to run. How ever a fuel system is normally recommended over a BAP'd single pump set up.

Tons of places are doing sales right now too, so shouldn't be to bad trying to find a deal on one

I'm in the mid 700s at the wheels on 93 octane with the Stage 2.
For e85, a BAP and bigger injectors are needed and then a custom tune. Whipple is about to release a stage 3 kit which will be flex fuel, so you might want to wait a few more weeks until they get that kit on the market.

Fore System or piece one together. I bought my hat, rails, regulator and FC3 from Fore and finished it off with an ID 750 filter and RHP 235 hose/hose ends. ID1050x injectors or Fuel Injector Development 1100cc. I use the Fuel Injector Development 1600.

ID1050x minimum, ID1300's would be a better bet for the long term but the 50x would be adequate

On a 2018+ ID1050's are more than enough, they're barely at 45% IDC on 15psi(Vortech JT-B). This was on a return style fuel system with dual regulators, 40/60 blend, HPFP was around 75% duty cycle(85* lift angle).

Thanks for all the Input. I appreciate all the help.
I want a safe system without overdoing.
That being said this system that Hellhorse is
about to roll out. Does this look like it would work
without any shortcomings or should I put more
Into it like a Fore System?

Sounds similar to the Sai Li and Rode Heavers kits. I see no reason why it wouldn’t meet your goals.

Looks like what you get from everyone's kit who uses OE hats that have been modified for return, few companies offer them, they are very economical since the OE hat is usually 1/2 the price of the billet ones.

Wish some one would come with a kit to convert the GT 350’s stock dual pump to a return system .
