I did not do any street logs but at the strip I would see up to-4KR and -2KR at full load with max timing of 18-19*.
It was the same whether I ran 93 /98 plus octanium/ Boostane or Ms109.
Damn you just got me excited lol!!!

I’m running the 3.75 on 93 with no boostane. I’m seimg +/-1 deg Kr, depending. I’m confident I could run the 3.625 with 93 and boostane, but everyone should check their own Kr when playing woth this stuff.
I'm running the 3.75 as well on 93 and seeing pretty much the same results, without boostane, and adding full timing with boostane. It has enough power as is for me until I do their stage 3 upgrade. I'll run the 3.625 once I go flex fuel and start running e85.

I wonder what KR you would get with a 3.625 on 93. If I did flex fuel, I’d probably still run 93 most of the time, but know I’d sacrifice a lot if staying on 3.75 with e85.

My car had only the VMP kit, and OPG the first 20k miles. other than the stock tires being extremely insufficient, it was perfectly fine.

I mean if you dont have the money right now and your not drag racing and bouncing off the limiter all day long. I wouldn't worry about it. Not saying I would never get them done. Just saying they dont need to be done from day 1.

I'm a 17 with the Gen 3 stage 2 kit. You will be perfectly fine on the stock OPG. On stock clutch, stock OPG and 700WHP I drove for a year. From Alberta, Canada, down to California and back. Many Mexico pulls with friends up to 7500RPM and ZERO issues. I have never once bounced the car off the rev limiter and that is the key! I have it set at 8000 to make room for safety. Also I've never launched the car from a stop on the stock clutch when I installed the Whipple. The car has 30,000KMs now, about 19000 miles, and Ive been boosted for half of that. Everything has held up perfectly fine! Now I have just added longtubes, 3.6 pulley and I did the OPG and on 94 pump I'm making 803WHP and 611TQ. Still stock fuel system that came with the whipple kit! No BAP and 72lb injectors. With the OPG done I pulled the car to 8000rpm and hit the rev limiter for the first time ever...lol...it was amazing. The car peaked 19* from 7500 to 8000rpm. Zero knock. I still will only change gears at about 7500 but breaking that 800WHP on pump was sweet. You can't go wrong with the whipple kit! I am tuned by Rob Shoemaker as well but even on the whipple CAL with stock ehaust and 3.75 pulley I still made a very impressive 681WHP:) @Whipple SC

Are you close to Calgary? I'd like to see a Whipple s550 in person

And yes, OP. Whipple is fine if you'd like to upgrade certain things down the line. I'd spring for the larger injectors from the get go though
