For all those who may see this who live in Europe, I'm very curious what the oil cap on the 5.0L 2018 Mustangs recommend to use. I hear in Australia, the caps say 5w30. I also hear that in Europe, they also say 5w30.

If anyone here is from the UK, Germany or Australia, I'd be curious to see what oil weight your 5.0L coyotes are recommended to run.

The cap most certainly says 5w/20 here in Oz.
HOWEVER...
Ford Australia recommend 5w/30 (the cap is simply a carry-over from the US market, like the handbrake and cup holder placement).
I believe the US use 5w/20 because of their emissions standards. Could be wrong on that though.
I’d be regarding 5w/30 as a minimum. Also worth noting is that the “BBQ tick” is virtually non-existent over here. I can’t explain why other than oil viscosity.

It's 5W20 in Germany.

Yes, In Japan, we also dont have anyone with the tick. Most gt's run 5w-30 Castrol or Motul.

Here in Taiwan, cap says 5w20 but Ford Taiwan recommends 5w30. Most EBs here are running 5w40 and GTs are running 5w40 or 15w50. Our weather here is more than 30C for most of the year with only some dips into the teens in the winter. Some of the 18 GTs here have the "tick" but they all go away after some hard driving.

Here in Taiwan...GTs are running 5w40 or 15w50.
OT: Are there oils of that weight that are labeled meeting Ford oil specs for the Mustang? I would use 5W40 in the US if there is.

Most of us here use the Motul 300V series or Redline. Don't think they specifically state that they meet Ford oil specs. If you are concerned about your warranty and have finicky Ford dealers in your area, it would probably be best if you use a 5W40 oil that is specifically labeled as meeting Ford oil specs. Can't think of one off the top of my head but perhaps someone else who does could chime in.
