I started out with just the AP, then added CAI, then catback exhaust, then intercooler and Stage 2. Next year I plan on downpipe and Stage 3. I'm not in a hot climate, so I can't tell you much about that. The AP is the one thing that makes the biggest difference in how it drives. Was that just the AP and CAI, or did you have anything else done? I see a lot of people mentioning upgrading the intercooler for stage 1 in hot climates, but not sure how accurate that is.
What kind of differences did you notice?
Thanks for the info btw.
As for the differences, the biggest thing I noticed was how much more responsive the engine was to the gas pedal. For me, it was a lot more fun to drive after the tune. You can find lots of dyno graphs that show how much more torque and hp it develops, but I haven't dyno'ed my car. According to my butt, it's just plain faster than it was.
Also, if you need to justify the AP, it has an economy setting that gives you a little bit better mpg. So if you use that long enough, the AP can pay for itself. And the economy mode is still a lot more fun than the stock tune.
