Thanks for the info GT 550...that is a neat looking install.
I have also been wondering how many more stock coolers have failed recently.

So it's just another mishimoto style kit with streefighter bypass.

I'm looking to see if anyone does their own OEM style cooler replacement. So similar unit but, well....sturdy.

I have installed a MMR oil filter cooler/relocation kit in mine. We'll worth it in my view. Completely removes the stock oil cooler system altogether. I did have to buy a US engine mount kit due to our mount being made to Intergrate with the oil cooler manifold. Car sits just under half with oil temp and not one drama. This system provides more room around the left side of the engine

and takes the oil cooler completely out of the picture when installing headers.

Hi Keith followed the other thread on this, great job. I was wondering, if you used the US engine mount do you think the US header pipe would clear? Might be some low cost horses to be had in the process. PM'd you a while back.

Cheers

Sorry for the late reply. I'll certainly look into this and let you know. The left header pipe perhaps will already it was my understanding the right one was changed to suit our rhd cars. Please some one correct me if I'm wrong. I will have to check out the difference between our headers and the US ones.

Can you possibly provide the part number for the engine mount you used? I’m looking to do something similar in the near future.
Thanks

Thanks, it looks like a robust installation and all high quality parts. I prefer this to a sandwich plate approach. I have booked in to get one plus only $302 for install with Harrop backing for peace of mind. Later, I will replace some of the parts (BMR engine mounts, Improved Racing adapter and remote filter with thermostat to convert it to remote filter install.

Finally got rid of the factory cooler and replaced it with the harrop oil cooler kit. Was pretty impressed with quality of the kit.
