What is the best dash cam for parking mode?

I want to get a dash cam for parking mode but can’t decide. Was considering blackvue or thinkware with their hardwire kit. Anyone have any experience with these?

My Thinkware F770 does well. You can either use motion detection or you can use time lapse.

Obviously motion detection will come on and record normal video when it senses movement. Time lapse will record the whole time in parking mode at reduced frames per second.

I have a Thinkware F800 dual cam setup and bought it specifically for the parking mode. The parking mode works as advertised, I use the motion detection setting. Just be aware that in order to use parking mode for more than 3- 4 hours requires an external battery such as a Cellink Neo or similar device.

I've running the blackvue dr750s in my car more than a year now. It works fantastic! You can also purchase OBD power cable which allows you simply to plug it and get power for the camera. Even parking mode works well with it.

What brand micro sd card do you use? Think wares are expensive for their 128gb.

I have a Thinkware 128GB, it was bundled with the camera kit I bought. Samsung EVO+ U3 128GB reportedly works, much cheaper.
