New owner from Wakefield

New owner here

Bought a 2016 GT on Saturday. Was looking for a Maserati Granturismo but wasn’t seeing any that were at a standard you would expect of that type of car.

I spotted this as it was listed by Trust Ford on Wednesday and had it moved to my local Ford in Wakefield. Me and the wife viewed it Friday evening and Saturday morning I was back in trading in our ML350.

Loving it so far. It’s going back to Ford in a week for the rear view camera fixing and some stone chips sorting.

Hi, its a great feeling owning a 'stang. You'll probably already have noticed how much attention they attract, way more than any Italian super car. There are quite a few of us members on here from oop north. There is a monthly meet up at Howden near Goole every 2nd Saturday, you will be more than welcome.

Welcome; the Howden meet is 10:00 to 12:00, so a breakfast meet. We meet all year round and average around 20 Mustangs which are mostly S550. I don't like any are unmodified so plenty of ideas to spend your pocket money on.

Welcome to the Yorkshire contingent of Mustangs! The Howden meet is well worthwhile(IMHO) -

great cars, lovely people, nice banter ....... good food and coffee (if you want it - and are rich! )

- generally a well invested few hours every month!

I think the next meeting is 10th November -- as Mustangguy64 (peter) says - look out for the post about it on the meets and events section above
(actually take a look at some of the previous Howden meet pics in that section anyway)
