Hey guys, im new to nitrous and ive got a few questions. I have a 2016 S550 5.0 and I have a cat back x-pipe and handheld tune. I bought a Nitrous kit from a friend and it has all the wiring. My question is: What is needed to run nitrous on my car? Headers, plugs, injectors, etc??

Tune, 1 range colder plugs gapped at .028-.032. Other things may you want to consider. Purge line, bottle warmer, pressure guage

That's the setup I'm looking at. Instead of the JMS, I want the Maximizer 4. Lund will not tune for 150 but I think I'll be fine with a 150 on 93, if not I'll mix a little 110 in with it. What fuel was you running on the 150 shot. I have headers, Corsa extreme cat backs, JLT cold air.

We were running MS109 for that shot.

You'll want to run a purge kit, pressure gauge, bottle warmer and a TPS activated window switch.

We can help you with all of this stuff if needed. Just give us a shout. Here's our car running an NX setup with all of the goodies.

I've been running the Nitrous Express GT-350 plate kit on my 2016 Mustang GT Premium (Auto)
Dakota from Lund does my tune. We've worked on it a lot (the tune)
My best timeslip attached ([email protected])

My Mods:
GT-350 Intake
GT-350 throttle body
GT-350 JLT cold air
Nitrous Express GT-350 plate kit (jetted for 100 HP)
Shaftmasters 1-piece aluminum driveshaft
Texas Speed long tube headers
Ford Racing resonator delete (X-pipe)
AWE axle back
Nitrous Express RPM/TPS controller
Nitrous Express EZ Progressive controller/timer (add-on to allow me to run progressive)
Nitrous express thermostatically controlled bottle warmer
Nitrous Express purge valve kit
Nitrous Express S550 switch plate
Circle-D 4C torque converter
Viking rear shocks
Brisk spark plugs (1 range cooler) gapped to .030"
Lund 93 octane tune
Weld RTS 17x10 rear wheels (305/40/17 ET Street R Radials)
Weld RTS 17x4.5 front wheels (MT radials 28" tall)

At Track I do one of the 3 (all have worked equally)
8 gallons of 93 octane (1/2 can of VP Octanium Madditive)
8 gallons of 93 octane (2 gallons of VP110 leaded)
8 gallons of 93 octane (2 gallons of VP MS-109 unleaded)

1.51 is my best 60 foot
Any 60 foot time in the 1.5 range usually results in a good pass.

(My car runs 11.45 NA with the NA tune & different spark plugs gapped at .060") also on Lund tune.

We tested nitrous on our 2015. Went with the NX kit and a JMS progressive nitrous controller so we could choose what RPM we wanted the kit to turn on/off at. Bottle warmer, purge kit, colder plugs are what we ran as well. Top it off with a custom tuned device and you should be good to go.

Let us know if there's anything we can help you with.
