I would like to add material to the seat bottom of my heated/cooled driver seat but am trying to find out if that will interfere with the heating and cooling operations. I see the vented slots, but I do not know exactly how this works. Are the seats headed via air? I know the cooling is via air. If that is the case, then I am wondering if air ONLY travels through the slots, or if it is transferred through the foam material as well. If it is just the slots, then I can cut holes in any material I add to match those slots. I would like to add more foam to that rear-most gray rectangular section to make that a little more supportive and raise my butt to put me in the right position on the seat back. The bottom seat of the leather cover on the seat back digs into my belt line. When sitting, I have put my hands on the center console, and door, and pushed myself up about an inch and everything feels perfect then.

I also need to figure out what my choices of foam are.
