I have worked with my local Ford dealer to get all the required parts for putting the active exhaust system on my new 2018 Ecoboost Premium PP car. Only outstanding issue would be enabling it with ForScan. How do you know which bits to enable to make it active? Is it possible?

My VIN#: 1FA6P8TH5J5179197
2019 Car with Active Exhaust option VIN#: 1FA6P8TH7K5117088

This should really be it's own thread instead of jumping on someone else's.

But anyway, I looked into this for a GT350. There were no areas in the 16 base GT350 (non Magneride) and 16 GT350 TP that really mattered.

There were no differences in the BCM as-built between the cars save for the VIN.

The VDM is responsible for the codes generated when you unplug stuff, and it's plugged into the BCM. I wonder if the fix isn't simply to completely unplug the VDM. It's in the trunk on the GT350's.

Well for what it's worth, although on the GT350 there were no differences between the BCM configurations, there was a difference in the IPC.

Note that these address locations will almost certainly not apply to a 2018+ car. In the GT350, 720-06-01 x?xx xxxx xxxx, ? is F when Magneride is equipped and D when it is not.

You'll need to find two identically equipped 2018 cars, one with and one without Mageneride, in order to sleuth out the differences.

The gentleman I was helping ended up using these: http://www.xineering.com/shocksims.html

Does anyone know if I can change the look of the homescreen to show 4 quadrants ( phone/nav/climate/entertainment) ? My '14 Explorer shows all 4 but my new (19) GT Premium shows entertainment on the left half, and phone/compass on the right. Climate is not visible- I have to bring it up manually. I don;t have GPS package/ have upgraded stereo.

How did you figure this out? I have a GT350 and did the swap for the premium screen, I've gotten everything to work but the drive modes to work, somehow this was disabled. Do you have more info on a 2015 GT350 or anywhere you think the problem will be?
