Fob problem

The silver colored top of the fob that threads onto the key ring came off. I cannot get it ti clip back in. I don't think it is broken. The fob itself works fine.
How do I fix this?

Did you open the fob to snap it back in? Can you share some pictures? Not entirely certain how anyone can help without seeing it.

It's the silver sticker that's on the fob. Mine started peeling off just because of the age.

Yes I did open it. I will try again to snap it back in. It is not easy
