Well, their website is wrong then! They need a proof reader perhaps. That would suck blowing up your blower spinning to 60 k like the website says and then finding out you’re over spinning by 8k.

The Procharger can spin to 62 or 65 k depending on the model.
Yeah the reasons why I checked because I’m moving to 3.48 and @VRP made a comment on my IG page saying don’t hit 7800 with that pulley..talked to Lund and they said to call vortech.. that’s how I got the information and I called them again today because of our conversation.. I’ve seen other threads with Beef cake talking about 5k-8k over and haven’t any issues or any of their customers.. you are only hitting that at red line for a sec but if something did happen to the unit I don’t want to be SOL. .. I really don’t know who’s right.. Ahahaha but I rather be safe.. and I agree.. they should change it

Since you made that comment on my IG page, I did a little research and found out
The Max spin on the SL is 52k
3.6 Pulley @7800 RPM =51,480
3.48 Pulley @7800 RPM will be over 1,400.... shifting at 7600 will be fine

so thank you
Except it won't be at that speed because all pulley systems slip a bit even if you don't think it is.

Which leads me back to, if you're only shooting for 700whp, the 2200sl has more in it. And if you really want more than 800 there's always laughing gas

My paxton failed twice, every time I went to the track on the 3.48 pulley it self destructed and I had to remove and send it to vortech... Best I managed was 10.0 @ 137... Spinning it 7800-8000rpm @Marvelous D S550

For those who haven't noticed, looks like the Paxton 2200r(65,000rpm) and a 2200x(65,000rpm) have higher RPMs...
