Just checked it before I came into work. When I shut the car off, the amber driving lights as well as the 3 LED bar lights in the headlights as well as the rear driving lights stayed on. As soon as I tapped the lock pad on the door handle, everything went off and the amber lights flashed along with the tail lights. The flashed once and then everything was off.

I checked this last night and mine does the same, which is good to know. However, I'm used to just hitting the lock button on the door as I'm getting out. I'm gonna have to check out ForScan further.

Just my 2 cents here, I always leave my remote in my pocket and just use the door pad to both lock and unlock. As Whiplash stated the lights do stay on if you use the interior lock button. I just got used to using the outside handle pads.
