I searched but didn't have any luck. How is everyone cleaning the rear panel? That thing is covered in a layer of dust an hour after I was the car. I've tried using some spray wax on it to see if it would help minimize the layer of dust but not really working.

Is anyone having any luck keeping this thing clean?

I've got nothing....but I feel your pain. I just grab some clean micro fibers and some detail spray after a while and wipe it down. Do the wheels at the same time.:kickrock:

Does it help keep it from being dirty again an hour later from dust settling on it?
Yes. But there is no stopping dust from getting on it eventually.

I think is it due to static electricity and the panel being plastic. It is a magnet for anything and everything dust related.

Unless there are some sprays that can reduce the static cling, you will have to keep wiping it off daily.

Nice way to revive a zombie thread.

Edit: If there's a lot of the tape, first hit it with a heat gun and scrape or rub off the extra material. Things like Goo Gone and what-not won't work too well if there's a lot of it left on there.

Goo Gone, but let it soak in. I just removed double-sided emblem tape with Goo Gone. Soak part of a paper towel, wipe the area, let it sit 5 minutes, scrape/clean whatever comes off, apply more GG, rinse/repeat. Final cleaning with isopropyl.

I would be real careful using just spray detailer and a microfiber. These things are so delicate that the dust mixed with spay will scratch the panel! I just wash the car and use a light coat of wax each week.
