Evening folks.
Ive finally had this done today.
2016 GT.
Installed a MY2018 inlet manifold.
Using a LUND tune.
IMRC locked out using MMR plates (and removed in the Lund software).
OEM MY18 TB
OEM GT350 CAI
Airaid GT500 dry filter
Catback
The complete MY18 install, incl the man hours is approx €1200. Your mileage will obviously vary according to exchange rates and whether you use a pro to install it.
Unless you know exactly what you are doing, id recommend a pro install. The modified vacuum lines can end up looking like spaghetti if you dont know what you are doing. The shop ive used have done an exceptional job, everything looks OEM, and theyve even take the time to get my MY16 engine cover back on the 18 manifold (not straightforward!!)
The results are properly, properly good. According to US members dyno sheets, its good for approx 30bhp. Im yet to dyno it, but my butt dyno is saying good things.
More than that, the way the thing screams round to 7500rpm now is astonishing. There is a lot more go, and a lot more eagerness. I have zero drivability issues, everything works great and feels good.
For the money this is a very, very worthwile upgrade for 15-17 owners. In combo with a good CAI and tune file, you are looking at a genuine +50bhp NA horsepower, which aint to be sniffed at. Plus the exceptional change in drivability.
10/10. Would install again
