Hey Guys,

Just a follow up on our new SS kit. Here is a dyno of a 2018 GT on 91 pump gas at 5500 ft with a correction on. It made 743 on a little over 9 psi. PBD made 746 yesterday with on around 10 lbs. Extremely similar and very useful for testing. These are the numbers we see when using a dyno correction and they work amazingly well, turbocharged, supercharged, or naturally aspirated.

Were the base 62mm turbos used? 743whp on 91 octane... wicked!
Hello,

Yes. This pull was done with the "Sleeper" base turbos.

Ok.

So basically, a no go on this? I honestly thought this would have been a great and completely unbiased way to judge the 370 whp gain firsthand!

There’s been a few more dynos mentioned with 743 and 746 numbers. I wonder if the twin screw would have made just 370 whp...

That’s the the difference with the numbers...

I’m still game... but I understand your position...

743whp on 9psi , 91 pump gas is awesome.

Any performance difference between the private label turbos and upgrading to the 6266 precision’s?

There is no difference at lower boost levels between the cast and upgraded turbos. The Precision's shine at higher levels.

Is there a Garrett turbo option with this kit?

If so, any change in price?

Thanks,
Derrick

Hello Derrick. Yes, we can upgrade to a Garrett GTX3582R for $3469 for both turbos from our base kit cost.

Are Garrett turbos any advantage power wise or just overkill? My last name is Garrett and I always wanted a car with those turbos so I could get a custom license plate.

They make great power as well. They will make more power than the base units if turned up. On built combinations we have made over 1680 RWHP.

Mind sharing what fuel system and fuel was used to achieve this?

Thank you sir. Are DW 2000’s compatible with C85?

Definitely interested in the Garrett's then! I just need to wait till my tax return next year or my wife is going to kill me! Immediate goal is just 650-700rwhp on pump 93. Then later build for over 1000rwhp. Piecing together some BMR suspension stuff first.

Thanks,
Derrick
