How is Rebate handle when ordering

I'm planning on ordering a 2019 Eco Conv shortly. I'm wondering how the rebate is applies. At time of order or date of delivery.?

It can be either/or. If there's a rebate you want at the time of ordering, your dealer can lock in that rebate but you aren't held to it, the dealer can change it to when you take delivery of the car if the rebates are favorable.
