New member here but not new to Mustangs. My 2018 Magnetic Metallic GT is my 5th Mustang. 301a, Blackout package, 6 speed manual I have had it a few weeks now and just working on breaking it in when I can after work and on weekends. Plan to throw some BMR bits at it and possibly some wheels eventually. Will probably swap some leather seat covers into when I can snag a set. Once I feel my motor is sound I will start the power mods but for the most part so far I like the power it has but there is always room for more. I did get a manual despite people saying get the auto but my 2014 was an auto and it was boring to drive around after while which lead to it being traded on a 2014 Evo that kept for 5 months and sold it to Carmax.

Past Mustangs were a 04 Mach 1, 03 Cobra, 14 Mustang GT, and a 1992 LX that I had plan to build but I got the want for a new one and I couldn't shake it.

Hello from sunny Slidell,LA. My car is a 2018 GT 6M, I don't care for automatics even though they are faster, rowing my own is much more satisfying, and besides I'm old school....

Not planning on any mods other than stereo, I have added tint, and that's about it. I've waited 48 years for a car like this, and I intend to drive the wheels offa him. Yes, him....never called my vehicles 'her'....this beast is a MAN.

Looking forward to learning about my car...

Greetings, all.
I live south of Boston, ex military, blah blah blah.
I currently daily drive a modded 2012 BMW 135ii (turbo inline 6).
I am looking at my next car, which must be a MT (that's all I will own), so options are limited.
I am pretty much down to a BMW M2 Competition or a Mustang GT (possibly a Bullitt edition, but I honestly don't love the green color and it seems heretical to get it in black). There's not really anything else on the radar, since my price limit is Mid 50's.

Gathering information and hoping for some insight.

Figure I'll chime in. My name is Tyler and I live in northern IL. I bought my S550 about two months ago in Georgia. '16 GT premium P/P with 6100mi. No modifications yet but I've got a $5k shopping cart at LMR for next season. Not new to Mustangs but new to the S550 platform. I have a '98 Silverado on 38s which I've had for about 12yrs now. First vehicle, bought it bone stock. And I've also got my '94 GT which I went through a few years back. Stroked to 331, all forged. Trick FLow top end. Pro-M MAF. Shaved engine bay. Debadged. Respray of factory color. Rebuilt the trans. Long list but those are the highlights. Forgive the fuse box in the picture, still a work-in-progress.

Hello all, I’m Chuck
I’ve wanted a Mustang for my entire adult. I finally made the jump with my wife’s D-plan and 0%. The car is 301a car with the 3.55 gear, active exhaust and nav. I fell in love with the 10 spd in this car and believe it is the perfect start for qtr mile and half mile events in the Tampa area.

Hi, my name is Kamran and I'm from Houston, Texas. I am in the market for a Mustang GT with PP1. This would be my first muscle car and manual. Looking forward to it. I am also looking at a Camaro SS 1LE. Hope to decide something soon.

Hello all! New member back in the saddle to speak in terms of Mustang ownership. I've owned several other stangs, but Mustangs took a back seat once I started riding sport bikes. In June 2017 I was involved in a serious accident when someone decided to make a left turn in front of me. Failing to yield the right of way they ripped the front of my Hayabusa off, nearly killing me and ending my riding days due to injuries sustained and a wife that said no more. So after much debate I decided to get back into Mustangs and when the s550 was released I fell back in love. I have a recently purchased 2016 Mustang GT with a roush stage 2 supercharger, bbk longtube headers and full exhaust, sct x4. I joined the board to learn as much as I can, find a local tuner/vendor and start enjoying driving again. Thanks and so glad to be here!

Hello to all members of this forum.

Allow me to introduce myself.
I'm 50 years old car enthusiast from Slovenia, rather small country inside EU.
I'm newly registered here, but not new on the forum, which I'm visiting and reading on regular base since 2014 when I have found first information about new S550 Mustang platform.

My first awareness of Ford Mustang existence reaches back in 70's when I saw as a child for the first time movie Bullitt. After that I remember my father was driving silver Ford Capri MkI, which was known as "European Mustang" in those days.

In 1993 I have had first contact with american cars, driving rented Ford Aerostar V6 3.0 minivan during my visit in USA. But this is all of my history with american cars. Not counting few Fords, made in EU, which don't represents typical american cars at all (Fiesta, Escort, Mondeo).

I have never owned a Mustang. Actually, I have never really owned a Ford. But this will change in the future because I have found myself very interested in MY2019 Mustang, since it got somehow Europeanized.

After 4 years of following different car forums and other internet contents about american cars I'm ready to become a member of Mustang owners with my own wild horse in the international herd.

I'm glad to have the opportunity to be part of this community. Surely I will have some questions to ask knowledgeable members of this forum, but I will also try to be useful myself by providing some information and my opinions if convenient.

At the end of my first post I would like to apologize to all English "linguaphiles" here since English is not my native language, which can be unfortunately clearly noticeable. I will do my best.

@Pero, no need to apologize for your English. You write it better than many of us who were brought up with it.

Let us know what kind of Mustang you're interested in, and I'm sure you'll read plenty of opinions from us.

Blue Moon, thank you for your encouraging words.

About the Mustang: it already happened.
Veni, vidi, vici...

Mid of September I was at my dealer to test drive first EcoBoost and few days later also GT.
The decision was easy for me: GT is the way to go.
I have ordered the car at the end of the month.
During long waiting I'm reading the posts about order tracking during production and shipping.
Let me see in following weeks or months if I can get some information about the car prior my dealer.
