Waze on Apple CarPlay

Finally, after months of waiting, we have Waze on CarPlay. This is Waze beta so I won't be able to share much information, but it's coming to the AppStore soon.

The experience is pretty decent for the first beta, way way way smoother than the smartlink solution, only problem now is there is no sound output for the voice prompts or alerts.

I'm guessing Waze won't launch until October. It's definitely further behind than Google Maps beta for CarPlay.

They released a hotfix today to fix the sound issue, pretty good so far.

Update, the latest beta released five days ago have been pretty stable, no issues so far, the public version should be close.

I Wazed around! It works, I haven't used Waze in a while, nav seemed accurate, has the report functions as a popup, etc.
