Yah the street is a lot quiter but sounds a bit muffled, thats why I switched to the comp axle backs after about a month
Street is much quieter.
Comp as an axle back only will have a very slight drone.
Comp catback with catted headers, drone city.
Street catback, catted headers, perfect
Street catback, catless headers, pretty damn loud, no drone.
Done them all

How much less power do catted headers make?

Larger sidewalls give traction, not the width of the tire.

You can run 345s and still not have any traction.. But try running some 17" wheels with a large sidewall with only 275 width and you'll hook (if there slicks, semi-slicks).

Not sure but I don’t think I’d bother with removing them until you’re running some kind of FI setup. I’d prefer to be running cats but fear of failure and the resulting engine damage is why they’re gone.

I'm starting to lean toward the Ford Racing exhaust by Borla. Any opinions?

If we can answer any questions about our systems, let us know! We would agree with what was said above: If you plan on going with long tubes of any kind (catted or not) we would recommend our Street catback. It has the same flow and power benefits of our Competition system, but keeps the volume tolerable for street driving!
