You're right, it really does make it look sharp!!! Might have to give that lens a try, as I've been wanting a new lens to play with. That said, I do love my 50mm!Few shots from a quick stop today. Was dying to try out my new Canon 24mm lens. First impressions - awesome! 24mm seems to be a nice sweet spot for getting car shots, focus is super sharp as well. May not show in these photos however, as I had to reduce the file size to attach...anyway - enjoy
24 is good, I have a 25mm that I use, I would prefer 35, a little less distortion than 24/25.Few shots from a quick stop today. Was dying to try out my new Canon 24mm lens. All is well thanks mate, hope you’re doing good as well - look forward to seeing some more of your work! I’ve used a 50mm too and it’s equally awesome, just found it a little more troublesome when at meets because you have to back up a lot hahaYou're right, it really does make it look sharp!!! That’s real nice! I’ve been meaning to try this for a long time...what manual settings did you use for that shot?24 is good, I have a 25mm that I use, I would prefer 35, a little less distortion than 24/25.
This was from last night...with the B25...my first real attempt at light painting in the dark. Learned a lot.
Closest to a sideshot I have in my recent photos!
Thanks. Once I had focus, I set it to manual and then -2.3 EV, since Inwas going to use my AD200 strobe. I missed one important setting...aperture...I had been using a fully manual lens and when going back to an electronic lens the camera goes to max aperture...so in this case f/2...so there isn't much DoF...then about 6 strobes images layered onto one with no strobes and some time in Photoshop. That’s real nice!
