hi I don't have a tuner. Will see if I can get a coe reader somewhere - thanks for the suggestion as I hadn't considered itif you have a tuner check and see what error codes you are getting. i am having another issue right now that i suspect is caused by this but cant be sure.
Absolutely! It's good to know I've some sort of backup so Ford doesn't say I'm imagining thingssounds like it but mustang wasnt part of that recall. but again, if you are able to pull codes please do and post them here.
If you see my other thread I am having gremlins now as well and I think my ECM or PCM is dying. I'm not sure if the two issues are related.Guys I have had the same thing happen twice now and I have electrical gremlins. I am taking the charge pipes off to see if any wires are getting rubbed through by the charge piping.
Keep us posted. I'm calling he dealer tomorrow about thisGuys I have had the same thing happen twice now and I have electrical gremlins. I am taking the charge pipes off to see if any wires are getting rubbed through by the charge piping.
hi Rousch05, it definitely is. If I leave it too long it could be pretty bad.It sounds like whatever sensor or whatever is going bad is really about to fail; it's getting more frequent isn't it?
Possibly! I'll check on this - thanks for the suggestionI haven't had it happen since I cleared the plug I used to close up the IMRC vent. I didn't realize it was supposed to vent outside. Maybe something is obstructing yours and the IMRC valves aren't able to actuate properly and are causing the issue? I'm just spitballing here.
