Wait what? you said stage II. Did you mean stage II intercooler only? 6 rib is HO, and different pulley ratios.

I think it is a stage 1 with a stage 2 intercooler if it is the kit that was in the classifieds.

You need to put a 9lb spring in the wastegate. That will put you at 9-10psi.

3.9 on a P1SC unwastegated makes about 14psi so you'll be bleeding off ~4psi. That will give you a nice bump in midrange power over a non-wastegated setup.

Why only 10#? I run 12 on my 93 tune with Lund tuning...turning it up to 14 on E.

You got my friend's kit, I know it exactly and I installed it (twice) lol

It's a full stage 2 kit, meaning it has an 8 rib belt

The blower has a pulley on it for 14psi, the wastegate opens at whatever spring pressure is in there to bleed off the extra over what you want to run. This brings boost on faster and gives a substantial bump in power in the midrange. Currently there is a 12lb spring in the gate so you will see about 13psi, depending on how high you rev you usually get about +1 over spring pressure with the P1SC.

If you want 10psi and plan on revving to 8k, get a 9psi spring in the gate. If you want 10psi but are staying under 7500rpm get a 10psi spring. Boost may vary of course depending on exhaust setup, sea level, and tune.

You can run 12psi with quality 93 octane.

lund told me since in california 91 is what we got so drop to 10 psi im full exhaust setup long tubes no cats full 3 inchs so pushing for 10 psi like their telling me 18 manny ported so yeah

Understandable for 91. With a ported 18 and catless I would put a 10psi spring. Even if you hit 11 for a second the tune will adjust.

You're welcome. I've felt that setup it pulls hard as hell, you'll enjoy it even on 10psi. If you want to up the boost in the future look at meth injection.

Again. Pull the gate and get a 4.5 or 4.63 8rib.
And lose a big chunk of fun in the midrange.
