I did some searches and did not find anything so I figured I would post my findings. I have a 2017 base Performance Pack with cloth seats.

I found a good deal on a set of white premium leather seats at a place called the Parts Farm. The rear seat went in pretty quick and then I got the front drivers seat in. The premium seat had two connectors but one fit the connector in the car so I hooked it up, but none of the adjustments would work. At this point I flipped the original seats and the premium seats over and found that the premium seat has a much different harness and a control module to boot. The cool thing was all the motors, airbag connector and lumbar, was the same between both seats, so swapping over the harness was pretty straight forward.

So I made the choice to pull my stock harness and put it in the premium seat. This is not to bad you will need a small torx bit to remove the side control panel and a tool to remove the plastic xmas tree push clips. Watch your fingers cause there are plenty of sharp unfinshed edges.

Once the harnesses were swapped, about an hour later, everything was peachy and the new seats look awsome in my opinion. All functions worked like they used to.

Were the leather seats heated and cooled seats? And if so do you still have the harness and module for them?

Yes they are heated and cooled seats, and I still have the modules for them sitting on the work bench.

If you have heating and cooling already installed yes, otherwise you can just take it off as I did

In my car the wiring was missing to connect up that option. There were control boxes on each seat that looked like they would require the car's embedded network to be hooked up, and recognize them. Which makes sense, as the optioned cars can adjust the seat hvac through the entertainment screen. So I would say it is difficult.

Could you be a little more specific with what you did here? I've seen the posting regarding the wiring harness diagram but I'm not good at understanding that. What did you need exactly to do this swap? is it as simple as getting a GT Premium wiring harness? I already know the heated cool aspect won't work since the base doesn't have those controls, I'm ok with that anyway.
I'm doing this swap and have the cloth seats but the dog hair is becoming an issue and requires hours of cleaning.
I saved money not getting the leather, even after the swap. I've already upgraded the 4-inch screen to the Ford OEM 8 inch with nav and Sirius. that was easy.

I went with Katzkin black and red leather and love them. Great quality and pricing.

still looks wrinkled to me especially around the seams that's why I'm after OEM. But you like it that's what matters.

Did you install these yourself? If so how did you order them?

No I did not install them myself. Automotive Specialities Distributirs in Cinaminson NJ did the install. I purchased them on Ebay from them. I like these much better than the factory leather. It's much softer higher quality leather and has the custom look. I'm very happy with them.

Did you base cloth seat come with a power switch? My 2019 base cloth seats do not have any power button at all, everything is manual. I want to convert to premium seats with power switches but wonder if there is even a power wire from my old seat
