2018 A10 3.73 gears ?

Thinking about pulling the trigger on 3.73 try to fully utilize 6th gear through the 1/4 mile . I have 3.55 from my research it seems 3.15 A10 car are quicker in the 1/4 mile .I like to listen what you'll think .

Please post some details about your goals. What type and size of rear tires? What MPH do you want to trap?

My 2018 GT (500 HP on E85) should trap about 123MPH. I want to run 305/45-17” rear tires and those are 27.8” tall. So, given the A10’s 1.27 sixth gear x 3.73 rear gear; the final drive ratio is 4.737.
That puts the engine at ~7042 RPM. A 4.09 gear is too high; the engine would be spinning 7715 RPM.

3.73 -> 7042 RPM @ 123 MPH
4.09 -> 7715 RPM @ 123 MPH

Lune tune E85
Pypes header into stock exhaust resonator delete
Forgestar F14 drag pack 17x10 rear 18x5 front
MT rear 305/45-17 MT front 26x6 MT
QA1 carbon drive shaft .
BMR drag springs and few other bolt on suspension parts
Trap speed 120

Sounds like you will trap higher than 120 MPH. I think 3.73 is the right combination for a stock Lund flex tuned A10 GT. Ask Lund; but, I think the A10 wants to keep revs below 7400 RPM. That’s why 4.09 gears would be too much.

120 MPH is still good. It should get better with some cool fall/winter air.
I posted the 123 MPH number; because, Lund’s initial 2018 A10 E85 numbers were 122+ MPH. So, I figured 123 MPH would be close to the fastest E85 MPH.

I haven't made a pass with the carbon fiber drive shaft and C85 . Im hoping with these two changes it will put me around 122-123 MPH.

Anyone got 3.73s in an A10 currently!?

I just got a 2018 A10 with 3.15s and I really miss my 3.55s in my 2016 A6.

I already have a set of 3.73s so debating on using them with the A10 or is it too much?

This is my 18. Its tuned on E85 with JLT cold air. Drag wheels and it has 3.15s. I thought about going with a 3.55 just to help 60ft better to run quicker but not sure.
