I have. Unfortunately there is no way to get it off without pulling the front bumper off the car because there is a small bolt in the back that holds it on and trust me when I say having the ability to push the clips from the back of the bumper is extremely helpful.Anyone removed and replaced the Trim Cover (fr3z17e810ab) on the front bumper??
Can you replace without pulling the front fascia off?
Thanks !
I hit road kill and demolished mine... With 2 people and being careful it's a 4 hour project. I highly suggest if you have any intention of doing the HID upgrade or swapping out turn signals you do it all at once. You won't want to pull that bumper off a second time. Also check your splitter install and make sure it's Mounted correctly while you're at it. If you have any questions feel free to PM me and I'll be happy to walk you through it.Thanks! That’s what I was afraid of. I have a small chip, a rock or something nicked it.. driving me nuts.. I want to replace to make it perfect.
The hockey stick shaped things above the splitter. mine took 4 hours because I did the headlight conversion and the blinkers at the same time, but I'm sure had I not done that it would have taken far less time.Trying to visualize what trim cover is? I just pulled my whole front clip off to replace the lower grill and the air deflector behind it. Working alone, and pulling both front fender liners completely out, it took me maybe two hours. Not nearly as intimidating or dreadful job as I had built it up to be in my head. I’m the worlds worst for remembering to take how-to pics along the way!
