Drove it a couple of hundred miles this weekend. (Went to Gainesville to see a football game I'd rather not remember.)

Mostly highway driving, which was amazingly docile. I like how 6th gear closes the exhaust no matter what, and then you get a nice wake-up call when downshifting.

I installed my Blendmount radar detector mount after having the suction mount fall off the windshield every other day.

Funny how that suction cup worked for many months at a time with my other cars. Perhaps the steeper rake of the GT350 windshield or some coating on it is the difference. Whatever, I had the blendmount from a Miata, so I put it on the GT350.

The only issue I had was that there was a little plastic cable doohickey that fit around the mirror rod. I had to figure out how to remove that and then the install went fine.

Car had dealer installed tint when I bought it..Lots of trash in the tint.. hair, fibers, etc.. dealer offered to fix.. I would rather have oasis tint fix it with the ceramic and that can do the windshield as well..

View media item 13751Took it on an 800 mile romp through Wisconsin’s Kettle Moraine with some friends. Next best thing to track days. The sound bouncing around the valley floors and the views from up top have got to make this one of the best cruising areas anywhere in the US. After Labor Day the police are all taking a well deserved break.

Raining heavy so just decided to poke around. Raised the car, checked a few things out, took a pic of the VIN engraving on the block, added 4 splitter screws the dealer forgot...

Rear impact areas (area in front of rear wheels) has been taking a beating from the sticky cup 2's. Spent some time filling in the chips and wet sanding the area. Long process but when the paint correction is done I'm applying XPEL PPF over top so it doesn't happen again.

Just returned from the Track Attack. The Boss race car brakes are EPIC. I committed mass insecticide on the way home via Flaming Gorge and Colorado route 64/139 south of Dinosaur-beautiful drive!

After a successful and amazingly awesome track Labor Day I added the top Watkins Glen outline. That track is so fun and the the S's are epic.

Got an email from the dealer saying shes as good as nee. Camshaft seal (valve cover gasket?) replaced. Dunno if I should be worried about engine, cats or anything else...

Received a fresh supply of fluids. I wouldn't be surprised if I end up spending $600-$700 this track season just for fluid changes; completely worth it IMO.
