Stock injectors are near static at high RPM. So when upgrading to a better flowing intake manifold capable of higher RPM it's ideal, especially when using E85.

So I've searched but can't find anything. I broke my own rule and had a shop install my 18 manifold rather than doing it myself.

They left the EVAP disconnected where it's supposed to go into the manifold. Just tucked the solenoid into place.

Any reason or downsides for this? I see most people are connecting it with a small hose into the manifold.

This is how I routed my lines. I do have a boosted setup though. However, I helped my friend route it in a very similar way. The only thing that was different was the red line that is going to the paxton intake on my car is going to his regular intake on his car since he is N/A.

Just finished getting it tuned on 93 and she made some great power with no issues. Car drives great and I haven't seen any issues with the brakes or anything else. Below is what my routing looks like, I hope it can help people. Also, this is with IMRC's LOCKED OUT.

Is your Vacuum 1 port capped off? The port that sticks straight out towards the front of the car, that is behind the hose connected to the purge solenoid.

Yes along with the one in the rear as well. These are just a pass through for the IMRC valves that in my case are locked out.

Did the install today and got the following CELs: P1289 Cylinder Head Temperature Sensor Circuit High (what I am confused by) and p2008, p2011, p2014, and p2019. I haven't done the tune yet so I'm hoping the p20XXs are taken care of then but what could be causing the p1289.

Follow these steps and see what happens:

1. Confirm that your vacuum lines are routed properly (follow pictures) from this thread.
2. Make sure everything is bolted down properly and all connections that need to be plugged in are connected.
3. Tell your tuner about your issues and see what they say.

I took a look later last night and saw that I somehow managed to unplug an electrical connection on the back of the passenger side head. The p1289 code cleared once I plugged it back in.

What caps did you use to cap off the two ports? I am just leaving the IMRC solenoids on but not connecting them.

I just bought a multipack of vacuum line caps from a local parts place for a few dollars is all.

Drove a friend's car last night on a base tune with the IMRC's functioning, and the car drove exactly like stock. I only experienced low RPM bucking one time when accelerating too hard in first on accident, but driveability was solid. However, we went datalogging on his base tune and the car felt EXTREMELY slow. I would assume that's because he's on the base tune and still needs a revision.

Are there any ports on the back of the manifold that need to be capped off? Can anyone show me where it would be? I still can't figure out why my car (IMRC's locked) bucks violently low in the RPM range.

Does anyone know if a 2018 GT plenum cover will fit a 2015 GT PP with 2018 manifold swap and strut tower brace?
