Opinions on Fuel Storage

What do you guys do when you store your cars? I've been filling it full and using sta-bil in the past. But then someone told me not to use that and use Sea Foam.

I'm guessing storing it with low fuel is bad due to moisture build up?

Can you guys chime in and tell me what you guys do?

Full tank with a stabilizer is what I've always heard - keeps moisture out and the gasoline from vaporizing in the tank. Pump gas is usually good for at least 6 months with no added chemicals. I use sta-bil in my lawn equipment.

Back when I lived in the midwest, I used sta-bil and never had any problems. I fixed the problem by moving to Southern California I wonder why they keep it on the shelf here. I actually took it for granted reading Barrel's post because I actually never have a lawn equipment downtime. The grass actually grows best during the winter/rainy season here.

Totally up to you, but I used to pull the fuel injector fuse in the spring and hit the starter a few times to get the oil to the top of the engine. Wait until the oil pressure gets good enough and then replace the fuel injector fuse.
