Hey folks,
Did some maintenance here to update for the new forum. Got rid of the creepy, disembodied hand  and replaced it with the :like:.

I had to re-enter the members who I quoted so if you get a notice I have quoted you, it was just me updating this thread.

Happy Motoring.

How do i adjust this bumper? I just bought mine 2018 GT350. When driving at 100+mph the hood feels like itā€™s going to come off.
The bump stops adjust by turning left to raise right to lower.

You could smoodge something easily cleanable on top of the bump stop and start adjusting in increments until it contacts the hood to your satifaction. The smoodge is optional and used to transfer the material to the underside of the hood to let you know when youā€™re getting close.

So if your hood is fluttering a lot a high speeds. Should I adjust the bumpers up so they touch the hood?
Thanks
Ron

I am NOT a mechanic however I would adjust mine to ensure they are in contact with the hood as long as the hood lines up with the fender and looks appropriate. If they are out of line, I would bring it to the dealer for further adjustment. There's additional adjustments to the latch, hinges... so it might be best to bring it in if things are out whack. Good Luck:beer:

Just noticed the stickey. One of the most informative threads, especially for new members
and new viewers. It took a little over a year, but well worth it.

Great idea and job, Tank.

Thanks @oldnick9333 :like: Glad you find it helpful. It just became a sticky and I think that helped increase awareness. Itā€™s a work in progress...

Anyone have a comprehensive list of recalls and TSB for production date of Feb 1, 2018 to present? As a prospective new owner Iā€™d like to read about what Iā€™m getting into. Thank you!
