Guess I've got to jump onto the band wagon here to, I had these Custom Chromed for both @Voo Doo and myself, as you see in his post.
The process is actually done with Silver Plating and then Six Coats of clear to finish off, it's quite the process. There a true mirror finish.
On a side note, the MMD V Series hood scoop is a just placed to view and TBD yet if I'm going that route.
VOO DOO is a high 5 with it! I'm still on the fence, back and forth. I'm sure he'll Chime in here to. Lol.

I got a chuckle today when my email let me know that someone posted on this thread that I started back in 2016 when I had my Ruby Red 2015.
Well here we are in 2018 and I now have a 2017 Lightning Blue Convertible and have also replaced the front pony with a stanginator from Erik again:
