I appreciate those who share all of the good info on this site, I searched a ton before diving into our newest project with our new 2018 Mustang GT with the A10 trans.

My wife and I have been building cars, primarily Mustangs for the last 25 years and still have some Foxbodies but these new ones just got my attention now! Looking at the builds on here is definitely inspiring!

We bought the car 2 months ago and put on about 2,000 miles and its been great, just needed some more power!

Mods so far (I am updating this parts list as they get added over the weeks): Weld 17" RTS S71's in black with the rear beadlocks with MT 305/45-17 Street S/S drag radials and Eibach Pro Kit springs.
Whipple Gen 5, 3.0 Stage 2 kit, ID 1050X injectors with the DW400 fuel pump and JMS fuel pump booster. Stainless Power 1 7/8" Longtubes and Flowmaster Exhaust. I did the billet oil pump gears and sprocket at this time as well.
UPR oil breather catch can.
DSS driveshaft & DSS1400hp axles, the BMR cradle lockout, drives loop, vertical links and Viking Crusader B358AM rear shocks.

Car weighs 4,100lbs with driver and full tank of gas.

Thank you to: Terry Reeves/Beefcake Racing for helping me narrow down my final package, the volume discount and always immediately answering his cell phone, this dude is awesome! Even after the sale he made things happen on getting me some backordered parts faster (and offered at his expense) I was impressed with Beefcake Racing for sure.
And I cannot thank Jon Lund enough for the very responsive communication and personal approach with our remote tuneup here. He has invested a ton of time with me, going over the 93 octane tune, nailing my driveability preferences and now the E85 tune. He has been impressive and said he’s committed to getting me down the track on both fuels, safely and making good power!

One added thank you to a member on here, in my searches I kept seeing a guy named 'Mustang Mods', so I PM'd him some questions and asked him to give me a telephone call, which he did within 2 minutes. We spoke for a long time and he was very cool and offered a ton of tips about the wrenching portion of his 2018 Whipple build. I then deduced that he actually owned a business, not just a member! I haven't spent any money with him yet but appreciated his help, feedback and generosity without prioritizing the fact he has a business. It was a great impression Curtis /mustangmodsstore.com, thank you too!

After a week long of evening thrash sessions, it lives! Loaded up the Lund 93 Octane starter tune and it fired up right away. Initial cruising is good and we are into our 2nd e-tune revision now starting to get some RPM's and load going.

Update on Tune Notes * Using our local Kwik Trip 93 octane would not allow our timing target of 16*-17*. Jon Lund asked me to run out that tank of gas and switch to another brand. I filled up with Mobil 93 and made some more logs and the knock sensor was now happy and allowed for the 16*/17*! No other changes and it was actually hotter out. Lesson learned.

Side note - Just ordered the JMS Fuel Pump Booster and Lund Boost Box

** I will keep my progress updates going in this thread**

The Whipple is an awesome addition. Thanks for the pics and keep us updated with your new results. Love the muffin trays for organization, lol.
Lol, genius idea that I can't take credit for!

Sam,

Thank you for the kind words. I am always here to help you or anyone. Let me know how you like the kit once you get some spirited drives in.

Great build and you will have a lot of fun with the Whipple Supercharger.
I just recently installed the Whipple Stage 2 on my 2017 Mustang Gt and the kit is top quality.
