Power pack install

How much have people paid to have the power packs installed at dealers? I bought the power pack 2 from Levittown Ford and was going top have them install it but they told me it would cost $507, which seems excessive.

The reason he got the kit most likely is to keep his warranty, so he needs proof that a certified person installed it to maintain that warranty.

Yes and no. It wont have a warranty because despite the car only having 11k miles its over three years old. Right now it has a CPO warranty and I am thinking about buying a Ford ESP. If I am getting the ESP I thought it still might be best to have the dealer install it. Maybe its for nothing but I thought it might look better if there ever was a problem a few years down the line.

Any dealership *or* ASE certified shop can do the install.

Mine was $250. Dealer even gave me in writing it won't void the warranty. If you are trying to keep the warranty and don't want to use dealer I would make sure its done by ASE mechanic per Ford Performance warranty. Its funny because Ford Performance would not give me any assurance on warranty of the car using either dealer or ASE for install.
