Anyone here with a 2019 MT82? Any issues so far? I just picked mine up and mine makes a clunk clunk sound when engaging reverse or 1st gear. Also I have a grind/click on low speed sharp turns or sitting still. Beyond those things and a gap in the front bumper below the headlight, I love it!

Mine kicks a bit going from 2-3, and will clunk when going from neutral to 1st at a stop; but figure that's just clutch-drag. I figure if it's a problem or gets worse by 30K, I can get it fixed under warranty. If not, it's probably not an issue.

The clunk isn't specific to the MT-82. The GT350s with Tremec boxes do it too. There's slop in the drive line that causes the clunk sound.

Is your front bumper gap on the passenger side, by chance?

Is it a thud or is it a clunk?

Yup, this is what a 2 piece driveshaft does.

So going with a 1 piece solves the thud?
I hypothisized or hypnotized it was something else but the 2 piece being the culprit makes sense
On my car the sound is from the rear end .......regardless if forward or reverse
At a standstill ......2nd to first.....4th to first I get the thud.
Does not bother me at all. I like it for probably the wrong reasons. All part of the manual trans experience

This looks involved
