My bumpers are coming off - anything I should do while they are off?

Am having over the top stripes painted on my car and didn't realize the shop needed to remove the rear bumper. Thought they only needed the front bumper off to remove the grill but since they re-clear the entire bumpers as well as the roof and hood, I guess that makes sense.

So I am wondering if there are some useful mods I can do that will be a lot easier with the bumpers already off. Same with headliner since they need to remove the roof antenna, but can't really imagine anything to do with that out (already have rear dash camera cable run above it).

If it makes a difference, its a 2016 GT PP Premium Coupe ordered with every option but security and Recaros.

Front grill? They make a lot of cool ones, and it's easy to replace with the bumper off.

Great idea and I am putting in a 50th Anniversary grill while out. Sorry I forgot to mention. I originally was going to just ask about the back bumper then realized I should ask about the front too but forgot to mention the grill.

Yeah, installing a grill is super easy (30 seconds?). Getting one out is a major job. LoL

Tow Hooks if you ever plan on going to the track

Mishimoto Oil Cooler if you plan on lots of track work

You already have a PP Radiator, but then again you do live in AZ, Mishimoto Radiator...also if you plan on lots of track work.

Thanks.

Not going to track this ever. I'm retired from that; haven't had my Firbird Formula track car on track for many years.

But I still like the tow hook idea. Don't understand why Mustangs come with one in other markets and not even an option here. If I ever need a replacement bumper cover, I will try to find one with the little panel you can remove to screw one in behind it if the inside parts are compatible with a US car. Might get an aftermarket while this one is off.

Lightweight bumper.
The actual bumper behind the cover? Only one I recall (and just vaguely) was an aluminum (?) one for the GT350(R) but it was VERY expensive. Are there other bumper options?

Although the rear bumper does not to be removed, IMO...a quad tip exhaust and valance would be a nice upgrade.

Open up your octagons in front of your air box at minimum. I'd toss is a Velossa as well.
