What condition will paint be new from factory?

I’ll finally get to see it for myself Tuesday, when the dealer brings it to my house and picks up the trade-in.

I would not wax it for 3 months to let the paint harden.

That is for paint applied at body shops,etc. With factory baked paints it doesn’t matter.

Be prepared to look over VERY carefully. Gaps, alignment of panels, paint (for dirt particles in paint.common on mustangs) and make sure the lovely back window is put in straight.
