I was worried too especially with the humid heat we had the last couple of months had aircon blowing on it full whack then turned it off got out of car and ping as soon as the door opened it was instantly covered in water droplets especially around its silver lip but it seems to have not effected it at all. Its got to be low voltage as its powered by odb2 port so it seems fine. Heat shouldn't effect it at all in winter as that'll dry it out if anything.
But heat + electronics isn't great either. I may actually plug the hole up with some dense foam.

your vents can't even get to a temperature that would effect the chips inside it.

for example the cpu's in your laptop regularly run at 50degrees + i'm pretty sure the heat in my car doesn't even get close to that moisture/damp is the primary enemy of electronics not heat and certainly not heat in something like the ngauge.

Yeah that makes sense. I suppose you'd hope that they designed the PCB to handle the temperature fluctuations.

She's currently being detailed by YumCars up in mansfield.

She's got i believe another stage of polish, 2 stages of waxes, sealant and ceramic coating to go on.

I've had a rather bespoke detail on her as i've kind of picked and chose what i wanted/needed :)! So far, very happy!

Drove it to work to check fuel trims and afr on the new tune. The short and long term trims are now finally bang on target.
After a few months of fiddling we have finally got perfect near stock drivability and proper power up top with the gt350 kit.
Long tube headers next to liberate a little more gas flow.

Looking good! Mine is desperate for a proper detail! I'm going to invest in proper washing kit when I move into the new place

There's so much more been done since that photo, however not sure a picture will bring it up to scratch. Picking it up 3:30 today, finishing touches being done with detailer at the minute :).

Out of interest have you noticed improvements in any shape or form? any extra induction sound?

Just curious

Thanks

After 2 months the car is still stock. Constantly looking at exhaust systems and sound clips, and think I have settled on going for Roush axle backs initially and then if I want it louder to then go with a H pipe.
But need to get things done on the house first or the bread knife will divorce me :(

Also looking at stripes and different option. Mines the pearlescent white with black alloys and I really would like to go with the blue used on Shelby cars a lot. Just cant decide on where to get them from and what type of stripes.
Have been trying to see if there is anything I can do thats not symmetrical and if so what they look like.
