I am seeing coolant level drop 1/4” or so below min level mark every 10,000 miles. Is this considered normal? What is the fix if its not normal?

I now had to add coolant consistently every 9,000-10,000 miles 3 times since I bought the car new.

I dont see the coolant leak anywhere. Could it be a slow leak thats mixing inside the combustion process?

Mine had a slight weep from the radiator that I only noticed when prepping the car for the oil line recall. Ford replaced the radiator under warranty. Everything fine since.

So your radiator was cracked? Or the connection to it was leaking? How involved is replacing that radiator? If they have to take the entire front end apart, then maybe adding coolant once every 6 months is an okay solution than them breaking 5 other things/damaging while doing this repair.

You're going to want to find the source. If the engine itself is consuming coolant due to a head gasket leak you will have eventual bearing failure. At least diagnose what is happening before deciding what to do. No it isn't normal for the GT350 to go through coolant.

Yes, slight crack in the radiator. They were able to replace it without removing the car's nose.

I had similar and was waterpump shaft seal.
Just replaced water pump and was fine. $20?
Evidence will be orange crusty residue around front belt area.

Had two other leaks in heater hose orings. Same evidence of dried orange coolant dandruff near fittings.

No, it is not normal to have to add coolant. If you say you’ve added 3 times. Maybe over a quart? Look under your oil cap for signs of moisture (milkshake when coolant mixes with oil).. I would be looking at all areas (water pump, coolant hose fittings and radiator. A small leak like this won’t make it to the ground. Look at face of radiator front and rear for crusty coolant.

Find it. Good luck
