Putting hazards on during rain is illegal in Florida. They’re only meant for emergencies - not people who are uncomfortable with the daily rain storm.
Illegal in NJ too, but so is almost everything else I see on the highway lately.

Lots of things illegal but people do it anyway.
I left for work very early last Monday, 0430. I live where there are no street lights and critters like to jump out in front of you. I hit the brights and forgot I did that, I proceeded to the office.
I was 3/4 of the way to work, kinda hazy as I had not had my first cup of coffee when I noticed that little blue headlight bulb on the dash. I quickly fingered it to low beam and was pissed at myself the entire day because I knew there were about 20 people cussing me that morning, and rightly so.
Yes, sometimes I'm a dumbass too.

^ That, absolutely. Anytime I'm tempted to call another driver an idiot because of the idiotic thing he just did, I remember the last time I did something idiotic and just let it go. Pots shouldn't call kettles black.
