2017 GT Premium Leather Seat - Sagging

My premium leather seats (in black) look exactly the same... Haha... I'm 6'0, about 190lbs, and have about 30K miles on the car so far.

I'm guessing this is common/normal?

I'm not sure. But I only had 500 or so miles (couple weeks) when I started noticing it. Have you noticed any change in comfort over the miles?

Call the Ford 800#, get a Regional Rep who will assign a Case number and your concern will get elevated at your local Ford Service Center.

If you’re not happy with your current Service Center, you can go to any other Ford Dealer.

There are no Ford Reps on this site (anymore) - there were back in 2015/16 when the S550 debuted.

If you’re not getting satisfactory results from your current Ford Service Center, unfortunately you’re only recourse is the Ford 800#.

The seats are still bothering my back. I still think there is something wrong with them. That second to last stitched rectangle sinks quite a bit. Here is a picture of the stretch. The back is sagging too. Edit: I am only 150lbs too.

Well that answers that question. I figured you were really heavy but didn’t want to push that question myself. At 150 pounds and 1100 miles take that car back to the dealer and see what’s up.

Called the 800 Ford number, they told me to go to a second dealer and get their opinion. So today I plan to go back to where I bought the car, then the second dealer, and then an upholstery shop. Hopefully someone can do something.

Greetings from Australia. Same seat issues. Already replaced right seat squab (RHD) once under warranty - 6000 kms.
Few weeks later, same again.

Meanwhile son’s 09 Corolla, 60 000 kms - 9 years is perfect.

I placed a folded towel underneath me when I went out last night and again this morning and it seemed to help the lower back pain I was having. I am bringing the car in Monday for the dealership to take the seat apart and see what's going on. I am going to tell them about the stitching at the top of the seat as well.

Soon as I bought mine used I installed a set of Cover King spacer mesh seat covers. These allow the cool air to flow through, protects my leather and great for the hot sun. Best thing ever!

The dealership ordered a new bottom part of the seat. They will call me when it's in. They didn't open the seat up, just had a few people sit on it. For the stitching, they said they had to take pictures and send to Ford to see if it's covered under warranty.
