A wild idea, is it possible to relocate our battery to that space for a better weight distribution?

I have thought about fabricating and putting in a separate fuel cell for those extra-long road trips...it would have been nice if Ford made the gas tank 20 or 22 gallons like they did for the 1st and 2nd generations of the mustang.

The air pump goes inside of a large foam piece that basically supports what you put in the trunk on top of it. Did you throw out the foam piece also? It's pretty damn strong, that is all thats under my giant subwoofer box.

Spare tire.
Lol, here we are way overthinking this, forgetting what that area is actually made for.

Just FYI, you may be helping weight distribution a little, but you'll be adding weight overall for all the cables needed.

Good idea. I hate the small tank on our cars. I thought about putting my methanol tank there but opted for another design in the end.

I still have my original tire mobility kit’s foam support sitting up on a shelf in my garage after I swapped it out for an actual spare tire kit. Anybody who can use it, just say the word.

All great ideas. I use the TKO Blockit trunk mat, as it serves dual purpose. It is sturdy enough to hold my 47.9 JL Audio subwoofer enclosure without sinking in.
