Doesn't do it all the time. Still breaking the motor i rolled into boost... around 5lbs no surge. Driving around 70 75mph, car was surging down the highway. Also surged in 1st gear with light throttle. Car started to buck is the best way I can describe it

Kinda seems like its in sync with the bumps/potholes in the road.. You sure your foot is not moving on the pedal?

Is the boost stable WOT?

I had a steady foot on the pedal. I haven't floored it yet but I've gotten into boost about 5 to7lbs rolling into the throttle. I had to replace the short block so I'm breaking it in. About 600 miles on the new short block now. It's a 2015 PP vortech V7JT set up with torque booster, 18 intake 100lb injectors, lund tune, boost pump, longtubes and NO CATS

As long as the boost is steady when your punching it, I think its OK.

What you could try is adjusting the BOV see if it makes a difference..
Maybe its going in and out of vacuum because you are not giving it a lot of throttle, causing your needle to bounce around like that, might fix it. Just a thought though!

I am following this thread and am going to thread-jack a little bit, but I have a similar bucking issue at part throttle. I also have an issue sometimes when WOT at 3500 or so in 3rd gear. It feels like it falls on its face for a second and then goes. Any idea what that could be?

I feel like the part throttle surge is probably a tune issue based off of what I have read on other forums. I know that all of my lines are snug and my bypass valve is fine since I looked at them about a week ago. So I would think tune.

Can be one of both, good to get logs looked at and that doesn't solve it, play with the BOV

Thought my screen was zoomed in.. Just realized your fonts just huge haha.

If you want to try adjusting the BOV, take off the tabs in the wheel well and you can reach inside and adjust it from there.
Turn your wheel all the way to the left so you have more room to work.

Loosen the jam nut until its off the metal plate (you don't need to fully take it off), use a allen hex key and unscrew until you feel its off the diaphragm.
Then turn back in slowly until you feel it touch the diaphragm, then give it 0.5-2 turns depending on how you like it. I have mine at about 1.5 turns after I touched the diaphragm.
Stock I believe is .5 turn.
