Ok, what changed in the 2018 suspension for the base GT? This is nowhere near as spongy as my 2016. It's not perfect but it handles better than my last S550. Doubt it is in my head because my accelerometer has significantly higher values than what I had before. Only change is MPSS which didnt have nearly the same effect on my last car.

Reason I ask is that I want to take advantage of any improvements rather than repeat the process I did last time. If there is no change... well damn.

Someone else will chime in with the specifics, but I believe the 2018/2019 base cars have components from the 2015-2017 PP1 in them now to an extent.

Obviously not the Brembo brakes but certainly other suspension components.

I am fairly certain the 2018s all received revised dampers to improve ride and handling.
