Greetings from sunny hot Florida.
Just came from the Thomasville Ford dealer in Ga to have a left side creaking/groan type noise checked out.
It happens when the car accelerates or decelerates slowly and on left turns.
I was told it was a Body Strut on the left side and they had to order the part.
Time for repair would be 3 hours in the waiting room.
I asked the service manager what and where it was and his response was "It's on the body under the car".
He walked off ..... REALLY, Think it's time to find another dealer.
Anyway I checked my Helms Ford Manual when I got home and can't seem to locate a "Body Strut" anywhere in it.
Anybody know of this part, where exactly, photo maybe?
Thanks and .....
